England Made & England Breed
“Poor Auntie!!!” said my nieces referring to the hand-made doll I made for my blog. “Don’t pity us; do you know that we had lots of quality England-made toys before”. I told both of them. My nieces had their eyes wide-opened almost refusing to believe me. But it is true. Those toys were given away by my parent’s employer an English couple from England.
We were not crazy with those toys anyway, it was not because we were being ungrateful and non-thankful, it just that we were up to the outdoor activities more. One of them was riding the English family’s horse. Yes, we did that..Horseback Riding, complete with the saddle just like the cowboy in the movie… Yipeeeeee !!!
I was only a little girl so somebody had to lift me up to the horseback. A huge one I remember if I compare to what I’ve seen here, rare by the natives in my own country Malaysia, in the state of Sabah. We were of course just riding not galloping; I wished Clint Eastwood was there to guide us but somehow it was a very interesting experience. A really wonderful childhood we had.
