Beauty Secrets Meme

Another tag for me and this time from Ratusyura, so let see what I have here to share.

My Foundation :  I don’t use any due to me having a very sensitive skin; prone to pimples and acne.  I applied Herbaline Nano pimples cream when going out (not to work) in substitute for foundation.

My Blush : I never use blusher before and ever.

My Lipstick:  Maybelline, only red and pink color.

My Essential Beauty Product : Lipstick, eyeliner, eye shadow and pimple treatment two way cake.

My favorite Make-up product : No favorite product so far; just a have to, which is Herbaline.

My Perfume : Mostly from Avon

My Nails : Only manicure without nail polish but I do use nail stickers sometimes during festival days.

Three Products to bring on a deserted island : Sunglasses, umbrella and lips balm.

My Feet : I wear ankle length skin stocking to work, to get rid of the dust and coldness of the air-con.

My hands :  I don’t need hand lotion just yet.

Women I admire for their beauty : All the Miss World including Aisyawara Rai.

Women with the best Sense of Style :  ???? None I could think of.

My ultimate dream: To have lots of money to pay my own in-house beautician and utilities to take care of my appearance.

My favorite fashion Publication:  The TV is fine enough for me.

This is all about the get-to-know me better and happy reading.

Hiccups

“It’s a sign of growing up”, our mother psychologically comforting us from the disturbing hiccups. Of course we were very young then, so we always thought what our mother told us was the truth and nothing else but the truth.

We have our own children now, but unlike our mother, we learned ways to overcome the annoyance.  Sorry mum, but this is what you sent us to school for.  Living today, I’m sure the internet will be the young boys and girls first referral for solution especially when parents are at work.  So I’m putting this here as reference and guidance to our children and future generation.

“Hiccups are interrupted inhalations caused by the nerves responsible for the smooth rhythm of breathing failing to synchronize.  As you inhale, your diaphragm which ought to be relaxing as your lungs fill with air has a spasm and the throat which should be staying open to let air through, shut down.

Ways to get the nerves to synchronize again:-

1)      By giving the diaphragm a forced rest that is to hold your breath as long as you can, then exhale very gradually.

2)      Non-stop, slow sipping a glass of warm water or try deep slow breathing.

3)      By taking a teaspoonful of granulated sugar; a method that children will love involves.

4)      By putting brown paper bag over the nose and mouth and breathing in and out repeatedly.

5)   By swallowing a lump of cooked rice (let the lump be as big as the throat could swallow).

All the above has the same effect…. pick one.
