Ingredients                 For Basic bread                                 For Carrot bread

Tap water                    6 to 7 oz                                              6 to 7 oz

Ingredients                 For White bread                                For Bran bread

Tap water                    3 to 4 oz                                              6 to 7 oz

Fresh milk                   3 to 4 oz                                              -

Wheat bran*                -                                                           ¼ cup

Bread flour                  2¼ cups (8fl oz cup x 2¼)                  2 cups (8fl oz cup x 2)

Dry yeast                     ¾ tsp                                                   1 tsp

*Grated carrot and wheat bran are to be added-in only on the 2nd kneading process.

Dough consistency:

After 15 minutes of kneading check dough

a)      If dough is too dry and does not form into a soft, smooth ball, add 1 tsp of water at a time, allowing for water to be incorporated into dough before adding more water.  Do not add more than 3 tbsp of liquid.

b)      If dough is too soft, add 1 tsp flour at a time, allowing flour to be incorporated into dough before adding more flour.  Do not add more than 3 tbsp.
